Hamilton-graph algorithm based manufacturing process optimization for forming CNC

    To realize the automation of machining process in Forming CNC (FCNC), a new optimization method for FCNC manufacturing processes was presented based on Hamilton-Graph Algorithm (HGA). Owing to the characteristics of FCNC that were more quantities, complex motions, loose relationships among the units, the traditional methods were difficult or improbable to organize a task. Through some investigations and analyses, FCNC manufacturing process model was similar to a fully connected Hamilton-Graph. Therefore, Hamilton-Graph Algorithm (HGA) was suitable for optimize manufacturing processes. A HGA example was used to illustrate the effectiveness for manufacturing process optimization in FCNC. © 2016, Editorial Department of CIMS. All right reserved.
